In the In-Between

These collages come from a year of in-between—a stretch of time suspended between what was and what’s next. Since graduating college, I’ve been navigating the uncertainty of post-grad life: studying for the MCAT, training for two half marathons, applying to medical school, and learning how to move without a clear map.

Collaging helps me process what words often can’t. In cutting, layering, and rearranging, I find a rhythm that grounds me—a way to sit with the mess and make meaning from it. These aren’t polished stories or final answers; they’re snapshots of a mind in motion, shaped by doubt, hope, and everything in between.

They’re reminders that becoming is a process—and that even in the unknown, there’s beauty worth holding onto. So for now, I’m choosing to stick with myself, and trust that the pieces will come together.
