When The World Went Quiet
These collages began during the chaos of COVID, when my senior year vanished and everything felt out of control. In that uncertainty, collaging became my anchor—a calming, creative escape when nothing else made sense. What started as simple mood boards became a way to process emotions without needing words.
Looking back, these early works feel like snapshots of a younger version of me—exploring, experimenting, and starting to find my voice. While my style has evolved and my collages now tell more defined stories or evoke specific emotions, there’s something special about these beginnings. They remind me that even in moments of uncertainty, I found joy in creativity, which planted the seed for using art not just as an imaginative outlet, but as a therapeutic tool in my life today.
